Apicklelypse is Santa Fe, New Mexico's hot sauce company.

Owner David "Dave" Ahern-Seronde started making pickles and pickled things for friends and family as gifts some time in 2014. In 2021 while working in the craft beer industry, during his twelve year stint, Dave decided to try his hand at fermenting some chile peppers and produce as a hobby to stay busy... 

The test batch fermentations turned out much better than expected... and having a possible side hustle was incredibly appealing. Dave liked making hot sauce much more than making pickled goods.  The versatility within the umbrella of "hot sauce" was intriguing and limitless. This project needed a name. 

Apicklelypse it is. Fast forward just under two years, and Apicklelypse becomes a legitimate business.  

No, the sauces are not pickle based, or are no longer fermented. The name was just too good to pass up. Its an ode to how this all started and where the ideas and recipes came from. 

All the sauces are unique and stay true to the Apicklelypse motto - "Flavor and heat. For the end of times."
